Bota Consulting Engineers, Inc. (BOTA) has experience with due diligence requirements and knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations to help our clients manage specific environmental conditions that may be encountered on project sites. Based on the sites conditions, our professionals listen and investigate the needs and concerns of our clients and provide timely and cost-effective solutions that help our clients meet their goals, which include the following services:

• Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA I) – ESA Phase I is to prepare a report for a real estate holding that identifies potential or existing environmental contamination liabilities. The ESA I analysis addresses both the underlying land as well as physical improvements of the property. ESA I is based in part on ASTM in Standard E1527-13.

• Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA II) – If a site is considered contaminated, a Phase II environmental site assessment may be conducted in accordance to ASTM test E1903, a more detailed investigation involving chemical analysis for hazardous substances and/ or petroleum hydrocarbons. This process is actually sampling of soil, air, groundwater, and/ or building materials, which is typically not conducted during a Phase I ESA.
